Division of the Estate of Sarah Morrow Daniel; 10 Oct 1861, we the legal heirs of Sarah Marrow late surviving widow of Robert Daniel deceased now also decd. have consented and agreed. We Robt. Daniel of this Parish, Mary Ann Daniel wife of Jacob Magee, Sarah Ann Daniel wife of Abram A. Harvey, all of sd Parish, being the only forced & legitimate heirs of sd Sarah Morrow decd. & all above the age of minority, do hereby consent & agree to a final petition & settlement . . . which we inherit from our deceased mother and having also agreed amongst ourselves to William T. Bateman, Wm. C. Warren and W. R. H. Faulk as appraisers of said real estate. They having been first duly sworn by Joseph M. Simmons an acting Justice of the Peace to make the following estate and appraisement of the property pointed to them by us viz.

Dyson, Daniel- Washington Parish Deed Bk 10, 188; at Sunny Hill, 25 Oct 1905, Ann (x) Dyson widow of Daniel Dyson decd., Julia (x) Brumfield (wife of Isaac Brumfield who deserted her some two years ago), Jane (x) Ellzey (wife of William Ellzey, but signed by mark as “Millard” Ellzey in signature section), Lizzie Butler (wife of Amos Butler), to James Oscar Magee, for $358, sold NE 1/4 of SW 1/4 of Sec 20 in T1S R9E, containing 40 acres, sd land was acquired by sd Daniel Dyson from the U.S. by right of homestead entry about 30 years ago and is still held by his widow; wit.
