Warner, for $80, sold improvement “whereon I now reside” on Bogue Lusoh Creek, bounded on Elisha Harrel’s claim on lower side and on William Williams’ claim on upper side; wits. Warren, Samuel J.-Washington Parish Deed Bk 5, 131-4; At Mt Point, WPL, S. J. Warren Sr, Emma J. Smith wife of W. L. Smith, M. Ella Magee wife of Jourdan Magee, Sallie Brumfield wife of M. E. Brumfield, Martha Bickham wife of L. M. Bickham, J. Ira Warren and S. J. Warren Jr. to William E. Warren, for $500, sold 250 acres, 210 acres of which were bound W by S. J. Warren Sr. and J. Ira Warren, E by S. J. Warren Sr., S by J. Ira Warren and N by J. Ira Warren, and 40 acres bond N by lands of J. Ira Warren, E by James Holmes, S and W by S. J. Warren, William C.– Washington Parish Deed Bk 9, 147; Affidavit of Harrison R. Warren, well known as resident of town of Covington, declared that he was born in 1848 on Sec 60 in T1S R14E in Washington Par. and resided there until 1882; that he is identical Harrison R. Warren who executed deed 8 May 1888 in STP to Edward F. Brakenridge of New Orleans for all of Sec 42 T1S R14E known as the Abraham Cracker entry and all of the pine woods W of a certain Bay known as the Horse shoe Bay in Sec 61 T1S R14E known as the Robert Fluker entry; that he has from earliest childhood known said tracts of land as the property of his father Wm. C. Warren deceased in 1895, that the tract 61 adj the tract on which he was born and tract 42 is about 4 miles distant; declares that after his mother Mrs. Ann Wilmuth Smith wife of Wm. C. Warren died about 1869, he purchased the property at judicial sale to effect partition of his parents’ estate; Recorded Feb 1905.

Wells, Rice– St Tammany Parish Deed Bk A-1, 9; 27 Aug 1811, Thomas Nichols to Rice Wells, for certain advances made and for $30 payable 1 Feb, sold improvement on Bogue Chitto, lying between the improvements of William West on the E and William Lucus on the W; wits.
